David Cooper

David studied Audio Recording and Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated Cum Laude. After moving back to his native New York, David signed a publishing contract with the prestigious Warner Chappell Music. Under his name, he released the single, “Do You Know”, on the FNAC label in Europe. During this period, he wrote and produced songs in various styles, including Pop, Rock and Ballad. He also wrote songs for several children’s television projects under development. His song, “K. D. The Alley Cat”, was included on the edutainment CD “Make It Count”, designed to teach math to youngsters.
Commercially, David has developed jingles for national retailers, including Payless Shoes and Kid’s Clothing Outlet.
David plays in the band 46bliss, whose songs have recently apeared in TV shows such as "Veronica Mars" and "Jonny Zero", as well as in commercials. David is also a writer for Songs Of Love
(as seen on 60 Minutes), creating individualized songs for seriously ill children.
In 2003, David and Jeff Katz co-created the musical, “Captain Gravy’s Wavy Navy: Where’s The Moon?” The show was accepted into the NY Fringe Festival, where it enjoyed a successful run.

Jeffrey Katz was first published nationally at age 13 after winning a writing contest describing the turmoil he experienced after his mother unexpectedly enrolled in nursing school. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Jeff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism. His professional career began in radio where he wrote and produced commercials for local clients.

Upon moving to New York in 1986, Jeff began a distinguished career in advertising, quickly moving up the corporate ladder. His creative work at Saatchi and Saatchi in the area of Travel/Tourism earned the agency numerous awards. In 1994, he started his own advertising company specializing in retail, education and travel marketing. Jeff is responsible for overseeing all creative developed for clients.

Recently, Jeff teamed up with David Cooper to write the family musical “Captain Gravy’s Wavy Navy” which premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival. The show received critical acclaim during its sold out run.
