Jeffrey Katz (Co-creator) Captain Gravy is Jeff's first creative project for the stage. He is Managing Partner/Creative Director of AIM; a full service advertising agency started in 1994. He is responsible for award winning campaigns in the travel and education sectors. Prior to AIM, Jeff worked for Saatchi & Saatchi as a senior vice president in the travel division. A native of New Orleans, Jeff is also a self-taught artist. His work has been featured at shows in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

          David Cooper (Co-creator) David is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied Composition and Audio Recording. He recently contributed sound design to the production of "Rang: Colors of my Soul" at the Town Hall in New York City. Formerly signed to Warner Chappell as a songwriter, David currently plays in the band 46bliss and is co-writing and co-producing their new CD.

          Keith LaPan (Director/Producer) has worked in the theatre as a producer, director, general manager, and actor. He is on the production team of the National Tours of "Spiderman Live! A Family Spectacular" which recently played a successful engagement at Radio City Musical Hall and is set to embark on an international tour. He manages another attraction at this year's NY International Fringe Festival: "McBeth: Over 2 Million Slain". Recent tours: "Saturday Night Fever". Upcoming Off Broadway: "The Marijuana-Logues" and a new rock musical, "Ministry of Progress".

          Kim Boriin (Choreographer) Kim has choreographed and staged musical theater, cabaret and special events in New York and elsewhere for nearly 20 years including his own company, "The Not Quite Ready for Broadway Time Players". Kim was Director of Entertainment for Club Med at several international destinations. He got his professional start as a lead dancer with Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal, touring Europe, the Caribbean, and North America for 3 years where he danced in several world premieres by renowned choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett, among others. Kim has also trained with two of this country's most renowned ballet masters, Jonathan Watts of the New York City Ballet and Michael Maule from American Ballet Theater. He continues to perform.

          James Sterner (Production Stage Manager) Jim recently directed Appetite at the Miranda Theatre and Making Faces at the Phil Bosakowski Theatre in NYC. He's also directed Gifts of the "Magi", "Black Patent Leather Shoes", "The Kathy and Mo Show", "Fortune and Men's Eyes", "The Real Inspector Hound", "America Hurrah" and a "Thurber Carnival", among others, at EST and West End Collegiate Theatres in NYC, Pegasus Theatre in WI, Meadowbrook, Actors' Alliance and Detroit Rep in MI. As an actor, he has appeared in over 100 productions.

          Dann B. Black (Manny-T) Dann is happy to be floating along the river of life with the Wavy Navy crew. He is a native Tennessean, and for the past nine years has called NYC home. Off-Broadway: "The Freedom Train", "Fun & Games"; Off-Off-Broadway: "Balm and Gilead", "Blue Moon Over Memphis", "Guardian Angel" (directed by Mark Bramble, music by Doug Katsaros); Regional: "Ain't Misbehavin" (directed by Stuart F. Lane), "Little Shop of Horrors", "Moby Dick the American Opera" (pre broadway tryout), "Once on this Island", "The Boys Next Door", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Working", "The Wizard of Oz" among other across the US. Dann recently returned from Central American where he performed in their International Jazz and Blues Festival; Film: "Asmali Konak", "Morning Glory" and "Speed" for Thespians 2002 Academy Award nominee for best independent short; Voiceover: Dann also has done voiceover work across the US, his latest national voiceover for televison and radio is for mazola vegatable oil, to be released next month. Well baby, you know how to work your magic!!

          Tituss Burgess (Man in the Moon) is very excited to be a part of the Wavy Navy! He arrived in the Big Apple in March and has been having a blast learning the city and its characters ever since. He has been seen regionally as Father in "Children of Eden", Frederick Douglass in "The Civil War" and Oedipus in "Gospel at Colonus" to name a few. He just recently co-produced his R&B demo and looks forward to a recording career soon. He is also currently writing a new musical entitled "Derella".           Tenesha Gary (Venus,Toxie,Ensemble) is excited to be a part of the "Wavy Gravy..." team. This marks her first appearance to the FRINGE FESTIVAL. Recording Work: has included a contract with Capitol Records as a member of the all-girl group Earth Gyrlz.           Reggan Holland (Mama) A native of New York, Reggan has been performing professionally since childhood and has been seen in various film, theater and television productions both stateside and overseas. She received a classical training in London, England where she attained her BFA in Dramatic Arts From Webber Douglas. Reggan was the recipient of the Best Actress award at the 2001 Sage Theatre Festival for originating the role of Madame de Adams in "Calling Viola", by A. Yamina Collins. Other credits include: "Stepping Out" (Rose), "Cruel Games" (Masha), "Company" (Marta). Reggan is a proud member of the critically acclaimed sketch comedy group MEAT! and most recently was seen with them at Caroline's Comedy Club in NYC. Thanks to God for all His grace and gifts and to my family & friends for all the love and support.

          Sacha Iskra (Happy the Clam) is pleased to be part of "Captain Gravy's Wavy Navy!" Stage credits: "Pocahontas" with Westco Productions; Queenie in LaChiusa's "Wild Party" with Allegro Productions, "Pirates of Penzance" and "A Christmas Carol" with Fulton Opera, Yum-Yum in "The Mikado" with the Iron Mountain Stage; Dance: "Jersey Voices" with the Chatham Players; "CeBIT" in Hanover, "Germany" for Olympus. Sacha has also been a part-time lecturer for vocal performance at Rutgers and is a recipient of the West Side Dance Project NYC dance scholarship. Other favorite roles: Katherine in "The Vagabond King," Titania in "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and Eve in "The Apple Tree." Many thanks to all, especially Edz.

          Kenny Wade Marshall (Mu Pollu) is thrilled to be back at Fringe with such an amazing group of people. He appeared in the workshop and Off-Broadway casts of the Lucielle Lortel Nominated "Pirates of Penzance Live On Deck" (Ensemble/US-Ruth), the world premiere of "Zuelika The Musical" (Noaks) w/ Lincoln Center's American Living Room Series, and "Once Upon a Mattress" (Queen Aggravain) assistant directed by Ms. Carol Burnett. Kenny has also performed in various plays and musicals with Gorilla Rep., NYC Fringe Festival 2002, Mid-Town International Theatre Festival (Best of Fest.), Grove Street Playhouse, The Vortex Theatre Co., Certi-Amici Theatre Co. and many staged readings. He is also a member of the resident acting company at New Jersey Repertory Theatre. Regional work includes playing the boards at Maine's Theatre at Monmouth and touring the southeastern United States with Georgia Mountain Theatre. Kenny is also a professional improviser, having played at Caroline's On Broadway, Gotham City, Comedy Cellar, NY Comedy Club, Knitting Factory and the 2003 Piccolo Spoleto Arts Festival in Charleston S.C. You can currently see him do sketch and improv comedy with Rash Behaviour which he also co-founded.           Katie McAllister (Saturn,Dirty Birdy,Ensemble) was last seen as Nurse Nancy in "The Adventures of Vulva Girl" at Sibera for KaBoom Productions. Previous credits include Sister Sofia in "The Sound of Music" with Yorktown Theatre Company, Meg in "Brigadoon" with SBLI and at Don't Tell Mama in her one woman show "Yours Sincerly". A member of Simply Elementary, Katie tours public schools and libraries bringing educational theater to New York City's children. As a teaching artist with Inside Broadway she brings the musical theater experience to public school children throughout all five boroughs. Thanks to everyone in this "Wavy Navy", my family and friends, Tanesha for the help and especially Jim for always believing in me.

          Jamie Melser (Octorator) is no stranger to the Fringe, last year she performed an award winning (in her mind) show with Caitlin Barton entitled "Wigshoppe". In the past year, Jamie traveled to LA to perform with the all female sketch comedy group "Greasy Girlz". She also finished a run of "Aesop's Fables" at The Manhattan Children's Theater. You might have seen her on MTV, E!, Oxygen, TNN,TLC, or serving steaks on the Upper East Side (it beats slinging grits at the waffle house). She is currently doing stand up all over the East coast and just wrapped the indie film, "Terror Marketers from Hell". She is so excited to be working with so much amazing talent. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad, Josh, and The Greenbergs for their constant support (and for Michael's craftsmanship on the Octorator). Also deepest thanks to Dave, Jeff, Keith, Kim, Jim, Jane, the cast of Wavy Navy, and the audience for their magic and for making this a reality.

          Anthony Morelli (Walter Wannabe) truly enjoys working on scripts for Young Audiences. "It's fun to travel on stage to other worlds and stretch the imagination. Where else can you delve into the psyche of a Bronx Pigeon and be believable!"

Anthony also celebrates 17 years as Baxter the Clown, skillful entertainer for children's parties.           On TV you may have seen Anthony wearing green scrubs in the Capstar flea commercials watching the fleas fall dead on a drum, or singing the Yankee's theme on the CBS 2 "We've got the Yankees" Musical promo.
          At home he collects phonograph records from the early 1900s and enjoys performing music from the roaring 20s and playing the Ukulele.

          Brandon Parrish (Blues the Frog,Jupiter,Burp,Ensemble) graduated from the Musical Theatre program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy here in the city. After six years of living in NY, he is pleased to be participating his first Fringe show. His past theatre credits include Periwinkle National Theater's tour of "Halfway There"; "Pony in Suburbia"; "Tales from the Tree". While his love of theatre remains, his main focus has been on-camera and has been seen in several commercials including one for Checkers and Comcast. He can also be seen as Dennis in "Kate and Leopold".
          Brandon is thrilled to be working with such amazing talent who are just as insane as he is... okay, maybe not quite as insane. Thank you to Reggan everyone else who's put in their confidence in me and thanks most of all to God for the ability and endurance to be in this crazy business.

          Andrew Samonsky (Captain Gravy) has just received his MFA in acting from UC, Irvine. He has worked at Texas Shakespeare Festival and the Moonlight Ampitheater. His favorites incude "My Fair Lady" (Freddy), "Into the Woods" (Cinderella's Prince/Wolf), "Forever Plaid" (Smudge), "Lady Windermere's Fan" (Lord Darlington). This is Andrew's first New York show and he could think of no better role or group of people to work with than Captain Gravy's Wavy Navy.

          Sejal Shah (Rayadar) Sejal Shah began training in Bharata Natyam under the guidance of her guru, Mrs. Sulbha Tendulkar. While obtaining her BA and DDS at the University of Michigan, Sejal continued learning, performing and choreographing. She has recently moved to NYC pursuing a career as a performing artist and choreographer. She hopes to recontextualize Bharata natyam by integrating this beautiful dance form with various types of music and media. She believes that, by connecting with her audience, Bharata natyam can provoke thought--something she aimes to do in her performance.

          Matt Toronto (Mars,HazMatt,Ensemble) A graduate of the University of Michigan, Matt recently completed a run of "Singin' in the Rain" at Westchester Broadway Theatre. Last year he played Action in Atlanta Theatre of the Stars' national tour of "West Side Story". New York credits include: "Romeo and Juliet" (American Globe), "Watch Your Step" (original cast recording), "The Tempest", "The White Rose". Regional credits include: "Grease" (Danny), "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (Joseph), "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Lysander). "Television: Big Deals" (History Channel), and "All My Children". He is also a playwright and a director. His work has been seen at American Theatre of Actors, Theatre Studio Inc. and Manhattan Theatre Source. This fall he will be the associate choreographer on Berlin, a new musical scheduled to open in September.
